Caladium hortulanum (angels’ wings) has large, arrowhead-shaped leaves that are delicately marked with pink, white and cream. They are carried on long, slender stalks. In the autumn, they die down, leaving the tuber to over winter. This is a great plant, but not an easy one to grow. It’s very sensitive to cold and draughts. It needs a warm, humid atmosphere.
