Ficus

Ficus  is the rubber plant family.  The ficus gives us so many attractive and reliable indoor plants.  Some of these are very different from each other.  The weeping fig is one of the most popular of all house plants.  It has a graceful, weeping, tree-fern form.  Several variegated varieties are available.  The india rubber plant has broad, leathery leaves which may be deep green or, less commonly, variegated.  As it gets older, this plant tends to go bare at the base.
