Hedera (ivy)

Hedera (ivy) is a fast-growing climber that can be trained up supports or a wall.  It will even trail from a hanging pot.  It offers a good variety of leaf shapes and colors, from leaves of a typical ivy shape, variegated with gold, cream, and dark and light green in many different patterns to larger leaved, cream-edged mottled gray-green foliage.  These plants are prone to attack by red spider mite in warm, dry air.  Keep in mind they like cool conditions and need to be misted regularly with plain water.
