Gardeners Are Obsessed With This Tomato-Scented Candle – I'm Scooping Up These Dupes, Plus More Tomatoey Gifts

This tomato-scented candle is huge right now. Here are my favorite dupes at a fraction of the cost, plus tons of gifts for the tomato fanatic in your life. (It's okay if that's you).

The internet is currently losing its mind over this candle from Loewe that apparently smells exactly like a tomato plant. Or, as the folks at Loewe put it, "evokes the fresh, verdant aroma of the vines just before they burst into fruit." The point is, it smells amazing. And even better, it smells like summer.

Gone are the days of pumpkin spice and cinnamon and those cloying, overly-sweet scents that we've come to associate with winter. What's in is the fresh explosion of new life that comes from brushing your fingers against the very first tomato seedlings of the spring. Doesn't that sound so much better?

Of course, there is one catch that comes with the wonder Loewe candle... the price point. This little puppy rings up to $130... and that's for the small. Now, for some people that's a small price to pay to have summer on tap. But if that feels a bit steep to you, I've sought out an array of dupes that are affordable enough you can get a couple as gifts and keep one for yourself.

And while you're buying for the vegetable-minded in your life, keep scrolling for more tomatoey gifts, from kitchen gear to apparel to more tomato scents.
