Maria is an outdoor enthusiast who works in public lands management. She is a proud houseplant fanatic, owning more than 40 in her collection. She enjoys delving into advanced care topics, houseplant problem-solving, and plant propagation.
Maria holds a bachelor's degree in Sociology and Environmental Science from Hanover College. She is a digital media professional and an interpretive guide with a passion for conservation, and she educates diverse audiences on topics in history, science, and society.
Maria is currently working hard to keep her massive houseplant collection safe from her newly adopted shelter kitties and vice versa. Maria has been growing her collection for the past four years, bringing a piece of the outdoors into her home.
