Since I moved into a house with a back patio, I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect potting bench to add to my outdoor space. I’ve always dreamt of having a tidy table dedicated purely to planting seeds, repotting, and concocting my own soil mix.

In the past, I’ve always squatted in the yard or at the edge of the porch to keep my mess to a minimum. But I’m an adult now with a house – and burgeoning knee pain – so I figure it’s time to buy myself a potting bench and stop crouching down to do tasks that would be much easier on a tabletop. Plus, I need more storage for my growing collection of gardening tools.

With rising costs on just about everything, though, I don’t want to spend unnecessarily on a product that’s going to be covered in dirt from day one. So I’ve scoured the internet to hunt down the best potting benches for around $100 – and I found the perfect one for my back patio, plus tons of other great outdoor bench options that will fit into any landscape or budget.
